I'm Sandra, owner of The Ulyett Learning Hub. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I offer high-quality tutoring sessions that are fun and engaging. I take a child-centred approach to tuition which means that all of my sessions are tailored, adaptable and focus on helping your child thrive.

I am a fully qualified teacher, holding a degree in Educational Studies with a specialism in English. I have SEND experience with an accreditation by the National Autistic Society. I also hold an NPQSL- National Professional Qualification of Senior Leadership and I was previously English and Key Stage Lead.

IGCSE, GCSE, 11+, IB

I have extensive experience teaching English from 11+ to GCSE level. All of my students gain access to a google drive with a range of useful material such as study guides.

Why should you choose me as an English tutor?

I provide homework and homework feedback for no extra cost.

I know that learning doesn't stop when the tutoring sessions ends! That's why I set my students homework (if they want it!) and give feedback.

I provide my students with a google drive full of resources and study guides for free.

Finding resources online that are tailored to each individual student is difficult. That’s why I provide my students with study guides that line up with what we go over in our tuition sessions.

I provide ongoing communication and support outside of session time.

I think that keeping parents in the loop is important. That's why I provide ongoing support and communication. I encourage parents to not be worried about asking me too many questions.
